THE NEED
When preparing for his South By Southwest performance, Nas knew he wanted to do something powerful that hadn’t been seen before. Having performed for years, there wasn’t much that the powerful rapper hadn’t seen. He needed a design team to come up with something truly unique and creative.
THE SOLUTION
He turned to DK Design with the challenge of creating his childhood life on stage. DK Built a replica of the Queens Bridge projects on stage using large-scale props and video. The artist felt right at home on stage and the audience was transported to the real world of NAS. Ecstatic with the company’s work on SXSW NAS commissioned DK Design to Provide full production design for his New Years Eve Special at the famed Radio City Music Hall; DK Design has been rocking with the artist ever since.
